Preceptors

‚ÄčThe McMaster Community and Rural Education (Mac-CARE) program assists in the engagement and recruitment of physicians practising in the community and rural areas. By agreeing to teach a McMaster medical student or postgraduate trainee you have joined a strong, and dedicated network of health professionals supporting a high-quality, community-based clinical education program within the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine.

Mac-CARE Program values the teaching contribution of community physicians and supports high quality educational opportunities in community and rural areas by providing funding to the preceptors and learners.
